AIMS & OBJECTIVES
 

- to evaluate the possibility to carry out the technical and economical requirements of potential DVB-H applications.
- to set the dimensions of the engineering capacity required to deploy those applications.
- to evaluate the network planning engineering needed to implement those applications.
- to check the implementation constraints of DVB-H services.

4 various DVB-H and DVB-T services:
- a live DVB-T service converted on-line to QCIF format for DVB-H delivery
- a sequence of 7 QCIF video clips specifically selected for DVB-H testing
- 2 DVB-H demo sequences
- 1 DVB-T pre-recorded live stream

1 50W main transmitter (Rohde&Schwarz), covering mainly an urban motorway (2km)
3 1.3W (nominal power) gap fillers (Televés), covering one residential and one business area.
